Why should I take the COVID-19 vaccine?	To help protect yourself and your family from serious illness. The uptake of the vaccine will also help reduce the pressure the NHS and other related services.
What does COVID-19 stand for?	COVID-19 is an abbreviation of Corona Virus Disease 2019.
Is the vaccine suitable for vegetarians and vegans?	There is no material of foetal or animal origin in the AstraZeneca and Pfizer vaccine. If I currently have a COVID-19 infection do I need the vaccine?	You must recover before getting the vaccine. It is important to still take the vaccine after you have recovered.
Can I get the vaccine if I received a positive antibody test?	Yes, you should still be vaccinated against COVID-19, either 28 days after testing positive or 28 days from the onset of symptoms. You must have recovered before having the vaccine.
Can I still get the vaccine if I didn’t want it but changed my mind later?	Yes.

Do most people who are infected with COVID-19 recover?	Yes, most people that are infected recover, however there are groups of people that are more vulnerable to the virus. People with underlying health conditions and of a more senior age can be affected more adversely than healthy and younger individuals.
Do antibiotics work against COVID-19?	Antibiotics are used for bacterial infections, COVID-19 is a virus from the Coronoviridae family, thus antibiotics are not effective in fighting COVID-19. If you become ill with COVID-19 and a bacterial infection results, you may still need antibiotics to fight this infection.
Can you cure a COVID-19 infection with vitamins and minerals?	Whilst vitamins and minerals, such as Vitamin C, D and Zinc, play a vital role in supporting our immune system, they cannot cure a COVID-19 infection.
Do 5G mobile networks spread Coronavirus?	5G is a mobile network radio transmission technology and standard. No virus can travel along radio waves, which is used by 5G, as well as 3G and 4G. There are countries that do not have 5G technology and COVID-19 is still spreading there. COVID-19 is spread by people that are already infected either coughing, sneezing or breathing and the virus can survive on contaminated surfaces, therefore it is important to social distance and sanitise your hands frequently.
